What we collect
When you report a lost item we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, the property you stayed at, your stay dates, optional room number and your description of the item. If the item is shipped we also process your delivery address and the carrier tracking number. Property accounts additionally provide business details, a return address and payout information.
Why we use it
To pass your request to the property, let you and the property communicate about the item, take payment for shipping and the service fee, ship and track the parcel, and settle the property's monthly payout. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Only the property you selected can see your request. Payments are processed by Stripe and carrier tracking is retrieved from the shipping carrier; each receives only the data needed for that task. Our platform runs on managed infrastructure in Europe.
How long we keep it
Claim records are kept while the request is open and afterwards for as long as needed to support the parties, handle disputes and meet accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete a claim earlier once it is closed.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to processing. Write to us and we will respond as quickly as we can.
